As a volunteer, you will complement professional services, in-patient care, and support areas of the hospital. Volunteers help Shands humanize the healthcare system and make patients feel more comfortable.

Shands recognizes and appreciates the contributions of its volunteers who devote their personal time and provide assistance to the patients, their families and the hospital staff. Volunteers receive free parking and meal tickets on the days they volunteer.
